  • Turn right onto BLM 137/Dubinky Well Rd/Old Dead Horse Point and drive for 1.5 miles
  • Continue straight onto BLM 140/ Spring Canyon Road and drive for 4.5 miles
  • The Spring Canyon Corrals will be on your right side

The Ranch at JX Canyonlands

The Canyonlands National Park and Forest area of Southern Utah is home to our mother cows for winter grazing. During the early spring months of each year, our mother cows give birth to baby calves. During these months, riders can push cows to water or preferred pasture areas as well as check on the well-being of the herd.

During May of each year, we identfy cow-calf pairs and round them up to be branded, tagged and doctored. The cow-calf pairs are then loaded onto trucks to be transported to JX Bear Lake. Riders during this time of year will get to help find and round up cow-calf pairs and can even participate in some “branding” activities.
